Your eyes glazed over. He smirked, the potion had taken an immediate effect. Kentaro released the paralyzing spell that had you bound to the chair. You didn’t move.

“Tomorrow will be the beginning of the end. You will act as if nothing happened while you are in school. However, I want you to end your friendship with Maka, Soul, Black Star, Tsubaki, Liz, Patty, and Kid.” He ordered.

“Yes sir.” you replied.

“Also, you will be returning back to your original form, so nothing seems suspicious.” he said

“Yes sir,” you repeated.

“Good. Now go on home. Get some rest and report back here after school, in your vampire form!” he nodded and watched as you transformed back and headed home.

~The next day~

You walked to school like you normally did. Tsubaki met with you as always but you stopped before her.

“Hey (y/n)!” she greeted with her signature smile. Black Star was beside her as well and gave you a small wave.

“Tsubaki, Black Star….” you began. “Our friendship is over. I do not wish to speak with the two of you or see either of you or the others as a matter of fact. I’d appreciate if you would pass on the message.”

You left them, leaving the two of them stunned. “I-I didn’t want to say that!” you screamed inside your mind. It was as if someone had placed you in a cage inside your head. You had no control over your body or the words you spoke.

As you entered the classroom, you sat on the other side of the room, away from those you used to call friends. Tsubaki glanced in your direction. You kept your eyes forward, not even looking at her or the others.

It was obvious that she had passed on the news them. Patty didn’t really care. The others seemed hurt. You cried on the inside, your locked up self cried.

“Kid, Maka, Soul, Black Star, Liz, Patty...Tsubaki…I’m sorry!” you desperately wanted to say. But the words just wouldn’t come out. Not even a hint of guilt was in your eyes. It was as if your emotions had been locked away deep inside you.

Finally Kentaro walked in. He glanced at you then sat beside Kid and your ex-friends and made light conversation.

The class day went by slowly. You sat there, looking straight ahead, not even sparing another glance at the others. Stein seemed a bit concerned but brushed it off and continued with his dissection.

Then school ended and you left, headed to Kentaro’s house. Once there, you, once again, transformed back into your vampire form.

“Come on. We must release the Kishins into the city!” he said.

You nodded and followed him out the back door where the two of you slipped out of the city and into the desert where he walked few feet. He stomped on the ground, successfully hearing the sound of a wooden door. Kentaro reached beneath the sand and felt for the handle, pulling it up. Down underground were hundreds of hungry kishins.

“Come, Kishins, and fed on those who reside in Death City!” Kentaro let out a dark laugh as he stepped back. One by one, the kishins jumped from the hole and headed to the city where the attacks began.

“Sir…” you spoke.

Kentaro looked at you.

“Won’t Lord Death sense them coming?” you asked him raising an eyebrow.

“No,” he smirked. “I cast soul protect on them so they will enter the city and feed on hundreds of humans until they are discovered. Finding them will be difficult as well. Let us go. Soon we will attack the humans as well! Then once they are dealt with..we will go after Lord Death!”

You nodded and followed him back to the city.

It hadn’t taken long at all for the Meisters to catch word of the Kishins entering the city. Maka, Black Star, Kid, and the other Meisters, sprang into action.

“Maka, Kid, Black Star. Come here for a moment,” Stein motioned them to him as the others rushed from the room.

“Professor Stein. We don’t have time for this! Death City is under attack!” Maka said.

“I know. The others can handle the Kishins. The three of you have a bigger problem…” he spoke putting out the cigarette in his mouth. “Follow me. Lord Death wishes to speak to the three of you as well.”

Stein led them to the Death Room where Lord Death and Spirit Albarn were waiting.

“Ah. You’ve arrived,” Lord Death said.

“Yes. Mind telling us what you need?” Soul asked tucking his hands into his pockets.

“Yes. About that. Kishins have invaded the city, as you already know. What you don’t know is the one who is behind all this.” he spoke.

“Who’s behind all this?” Maka asked.

“It’s actually someone from your class,” Spirit told them.

“Someone’s trying to be a bigger star than me? Ha!” Black Star put his hands on his hips and puffed out his chest. “Who is it? I’ll beat the crap out of him!”

“Her.” Spirit corrected.

“H-huh?” Tsubaki, along with the others, were confused.

“The suspect is a women. In fact it’s your...ex-friend (Y/n).” Death said. The mirror behind him reflected your image. You were walking through the streets, passing Kishins as they tore through the people.

“I-it can’t be…” Maka put a hand to her mouth.

Kid was shocked. He was speechless. The girl he had grown fond of was attacking Death City and ruining all of its symmetry. He wasn’t going to lie, he had developed a crush on the vampire girl. But now, his heart shattered.

“Stein and I will go intercept her before she makes her way here. This is where she is headed after all,” Spirit explained.

“Why can’t WE do it?” Black Star asked crossing his arms.

“If you hadn’t realized,”Stein began, “(Y/n) is a very powerful vampire. When she is in her full form, she has ten times more power and speed than before.”

“B-but…” Maka began to protest.

“There’s not a chance in hell we can beat her. But what we can do is weaken her greatly, that way the three of you will have an actual chance to finish her off. It’ll be tough, but we have faith in you.” Spirit smiled and laid a hand on his daughters head.

“P-papa…” she whispered.

“Don’t worry.” he said. “Let’s go Stein..”

The two men walked from the Death Room, Stein leaving his lab coat behind.

“Good luck Papa…” Maka whispered.

Stein and Spirit waited for you at the bottom of the stairs that led to the DWMA. When you came into view, you stopped a few feet in front of them.

“Stein…”

“Yes. I know. She’s not herself.” Stein whispered observing your glazed over eyes.

“I don’t want to kill you,” you spoke. “So please step aside and I will spare your life.”

“Spirit!”

“Right!” The redhead transformed into his death scythe form.

“I see,” you sighed and closed your eyes. “You leave me no choice.”

And so your battle with Stein and Death Scythe began.
Alright...the story is going well...Err I think...maybe...I don't know.

For the next few chapter, please bear with me. I am terrible at writing fight scenes...

But what do you think so far??

Kid has finally accepted he has a crush on Reader-chan.

Will this crush of his blossom into something else??
