Love Bites(4)~Death the Kid x Vampire! Reader~

You fought yourself for control, stopping mere inches from him. From someone elses point of view, it would most likely appear like you were getting ready to kiss him.


“Stop…!” you screamed in your mind. Finally you gained control, just in time for Tsubaki to come back into the room.


You stared down at Kid with a shocked face. “What the hell happened?”


Kid was staring up at you with wide yellow eyes. You were also aware of three sets of eyes watching you. So you did the thing you wished you never did. You quickly got off him and stormed away.


Kid laid there, still in shock. He had been in a rather promising situation.


Liz was standing above him with a smirk which only added to his embarrassment.


~Timeskip~


You sat in the bathroom, your stomach growling and your head in your hands. Then someone knocked on your door.


“Is someone in here?” a voice you did not recognise asked. It sounded like a male.


You opened the door and pulled him inside and sank your fangs into his neck before he could let out a scream. You nearly drained his blood but released him and left the bathroom before he could get a could look at you. His body slumped to the ground as you closed the door and went back to the train cart your group was in.


You felt yourself being tackled to the ground by Tsubaki. “What the hell!?”


“You have blood on your shirt,” she whispered. You looked down and sure enough there was spots of blood.


“Oh…” you muttered.


“Who was it?” she asked.


“Another passenger. I didn’t drain ALL of his blood. He’s just unconscious in the bathroom,” you shrugged as she stood up. You quickly grabbed a clean shirt and changed into it. The shirt that had blood on it was thrown out the window, lost in the desert.


A man came into your train cart. “We need everyone in here please.”


You and the others lined up next to the other passengers.


“What’s this all about?” you asked putting a hand on your hip.


Then they brought out the guy who you had fed off of. “This man was attacked and someone on this train did so. The mark on his neck is a vampire bite.”


“Vampires aren’t even real,” Liz spoke.


“Yeah!” Patty agreed. “No vampires here!”


“We will be checking to see if any of you have fangs or not. Better safe than sorry,” and he proceeded to check the roof of everyone’s mouth. Tsubaki gave you worried glances but you looked calm, cool, and collected.


You ran your tongue over the roof of your mouth, making sure your fangs had shrank back. Then he checked Liz, You caught smell of his blood. You were at the end of the line, beside Patty.


“Damn it!” you thought feeling your fangs coming out. “He has the same rare blood type as Kid!”


Tsubaki watched you start to panic. Liz noticed this as well and leaned over to Tsubaki.


“Tsubaki...is she the vampire?” Liz whispered to her.


“N-no!” she stuttered. Liz gave her the look. “Yeah...don’t tell anyone thought! She’s been trying her hardest not to attack anyone!”


“But she attacked Kid and that guy,” she said.


“I know. Kid has a rare blood type that all vampires desire. It’s hard to maintain control,” Tsubaki explained.


“Alright. I won’t tell anyone.”


You looked around for an escape, they were now at Kid, inspecting the roof of his mouth carefully. Beside you was the door that connected the train car you were in and the one you are in.

“Patty,” you spoke softly. She looked at you with a smile. “Make a distraction.”


“Okay!” she saluted and left the line to go do whatever it is she did. Probably go talk to Liz.


Kid looked at her and glanced in your direction only to see you open the door. He quickly followed you.


“H-hey!” You looked down at Kid.


“What?” you raised an eyebrow.


“Where...are you going?” he questioned.


“Away from them,” you pointed at the man, through the window, who was inspecting Pattys mouth.


“Why? They’re looking for someone with fangs. None of us have fangs,” he said. You almost smirked, but you didn’t.


“I-I know. I just don’t like people looking in my mouth. That’s weird,” You lied. “Besides...I was in a hurry and forgot to brush my teeth…”


And you disappeared into the train cart you were assigned to. You sat in a seat and stared at the window, your fangs shrinking back into your gums.


~Timeskip~


It would taken another half a day to arrive at your destination. From their, the five of you would walk to The Forbidden City.


You groaned in your seat as people piled off, some giving you weird glances but you ignored them. The whole vampire situation left people on edge but the ones investigating reassured that the ‘vampire’ has escaped by jumping off the train.


The others were sleeping as you stayed wide awake staring at the moon in the night sky. The train kept going. The next stop would be where your group off.


Only a few people got on the train. One of the men that was investigating was still on and giving you suspicious glances.


“Is there something bothering you?” you asked.


“Yes..we never inspected you earlier,” he said standing and making his way towards you. This was not the man who had the delicious blood.


“Oh sure. Let’s go to the other room!” you grinned and stood. You followed him into the other room where he seized your chin and forced you to open your mouth.


“Hmmm…” he narrowed his eyes in concentration.


“Now would be a good midnight snack,” you allowed your fangs to slid from their gums. The man quickly released you and stared in both fear and shock.


“Y-you’re the vampire…” he pointed out.


You smirked. He began to run but you pounced on him, tackling him to the ground. “Now we don’t want the entire world to find out.” with that said you sank your deadly fangs into his neck and sucked his blood dry.


You dropped him to the ground. You actually licked the bite marks on his neck, so be the time someone discovered him, the evidence would not be there.


“Sorry…” you walked away with a heavy heart….
